Can Orion EIIG support a direct live connection from a database?

Yes, users can directly access their database from EIIG and import their metadata.

How does Orion EIIG handle a parameterized Data Factory job?

Users can import parameter files along with a Data Factory job. Orion EIIG will parse the parameters used and will pick up the right values from the parameter file. The data lineage will also be viewable for a parameterized job.

Does Orion EIIG support historical data?

Yes, Orion EIIG supports a versioning feature that helps users find their historical metadata.

Does Orion EIIG show impacted systems/applications?

Yes, Orion EIIG shows impacted systems in a pictorial graph and also shows the impact among different technologies.

Does Orion EIIG examine the data quality of the metadata imported into the platform?

Yes, Orion EIIG analyzes the data quality of the metadata and populates the quality score. The scores are generated based on policy violations, prevalence, etc.
